Management

The management of BHLHE22 related syndrome would be similar to other neurodevelopmental disorders. They would receive specialized care including seizure management, special education, occupational/physical therapy, and vision care/therapy.

We recommend that the gene BHLHE22 be added to the gene testing panel for brain malformations and spasticity.
