Possible features include: weak muscle tone and feeding or breathing problems in newborns, heart problems, epileptic seizures, delayed development, balance problems and unsteady walking, and stiffness of the legs. Which features occur, and how severe they are, differs from person to person. Not everyone with a COQ4 mutation has all of these features.
