Management
Treatment in a multidisciplinary team is recommended and is directed to the symptoms manifested by the patient. Long-term follow-up of the patients should be coordinated by a paediatrician with experience in intellectual disability or a developmental paediatrician. Special attention should be given to child development, including growth, feeding, and acquisition of motor and language skills.

Unfortunately, currently there is no curative treatment available. Seizures may be managed with anti-epileptic medication.
