Individuals with MAP4K4-related disorders often experience a variety of health issues, including delays in developmental milestones, intellectual disability, shorter than average height, abnormalities seen in brain scans, heart defects present from birth, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), seizures, low muscle tone, autism, unusual facial bone structure, abnormalities in the limbs, problems with the urinary and reproductive systems, issues with the digestive system, birthmarks made up of blood vessels (hemangiomas).
