PLCB1-related disease is a very rare brain condition that begins in infancy and causes severe seizures and developmental problems. Babies often start having epileptic spasms or other difficult-to-control seizures in the first months of life. Many children also have very delayed development, low muscle tone, and severe learning difficulties. Not every child has exactly the same symptoms.
