Patients with SCN1B-related disorder may have the following challenges:
• Seizures which can be related to fevers or not, sometimes these are manageable in the case of Generalized Epilepsy with Febrile Seizures Plus (GEFS+), however they can be more difficult to control and need multiple medications
• Developmental Delays
• Autism
• Cardiac Arrhythmias (i.e. Brugada Syndrome)
