Current studies aim to expand the genotypic and phenotypic spectrum by identifying additional individuals harboring ultrarare heterozygous missense or truncating variants and to elucidate the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms. A manuscript better defining the SUPT16H-related disorder is expected to be published in 2026.
