Management

There is no curative therapy for UBAP1-associated disorders. Management focuses on symptom control and maintaining mobility.

Recommended interventions:
•    Physiotherapy to reduce spasticity and improve gait.
•    Pharmacological treatment of spasticity (e.g., baclofen, tizanidine, botulinum toxin when appropriate).
•    Orthopedic evaluation for contractures or gait abnormalities.
•    Urological assessment in patients with bladder symptoms.
•    Periodic neurological follow-up to monitor progression.
